GUATEMALA, Peten/Tikal ruins – 2012
The misterious and charming location, the Citadel of Tikal, requires a studied and careful intervention, a profound ecological vision, and above all, a poetic creativity. The Hostel renews the hospitality traditional vision and invites the guest to experience in a new and different way what it is to spend a night and wake up in front of the archeological site.
The structure, throuugh its close connection with the Tikal ruins, is an extension or enlargement, but with authentic and legitimate contemporary characteristics.
It’s more a place to be rather than a place to be in, of enjoyment of the context before the enjoyment of the infrastructure.
